Is everyone going crazy?

Lecturers lecture.
Lecturers give us assignments.
Lecturers mark our scripts.
Lecturers evaluate us.
For one whole semester,
and another semester,
on and on;
again and again.
From what I’ve seen, whether it is exactly true or not,
Lecturers are doing almost similar things,
TOWARDS STUDENTS.

Was lil bit stressed this evening.
And it REALLY drives me crazy when I couldn't find any food AT ALL to release stress.
Ended up making a bowl of hot Marmite soup (Popeye soup huh wakaka).
Sounds silly??

Was wondering why some of the lecturer saying one thing but acted in another way.
Was wondering why some of the lecturers couldn’t foresee the consequences before they announce or decide on any single thing.

They structure the assignment questions as if there are still many hidden questions in each question.
And then they ask us to get their consultation.
Ok.
And then when everyone was fighting to see the lecturer, as if meeting wih idol for autographs.
As if students are like a free marketing tool for them to be "famous" among their colleagues.
And then the other lecturers will start wondering :"who's the hell is this who attract lotsa students everyday huh?" and then realised: "Oh...Mr. /Ms. X..."

They ask us not to crowd outside their room, because they say they will get complains of "Your students were blocking the corridor!" from the other lecturers.

Yet, they kept on emphasize that "consultation is not mandatory but it reflects accountability".

Ok so all of us has no choice to run after them, for a limited 5 minutes per group. Or even some times the lecturer wasn't in their room during consultation, roaming somewhere else in the college, playing hide and seek, or rather, forget about the consultation hour and have a nice lunch in JJ.

And after the consultation, the lecturers will have feedbacks on our meeting with'em. Asking us don't ask silly question like footnote, contents sufficiency....

I WONDER: They really thought that it is fun to have session like a group of patients seeing doctor in a crowded clinic?

OR RATHER: They wanna experience how an artist feel when the artis is surrounded by lotsa fans asking for authographs, photographs....showing to the other lecturers that you got lotsa hardworking student chase after you because they're soooooooo concern about their coursework? (Made me think of the law lecturer who ask 200+of us to queue up tp submit and sign for the sake of handling the coursework report last year: "Facsinating" view from SBS huh?)

I'm NOT angry actually. I just try to understand the rationale behind this. We are already tired and adapting with working with different people in different groups with different hours on different assignments. Don't they realise that assignments do not really help MUCH in enhancing passing rates(As most of the students do well in regurgitating text in reports)? Dont't they ever consider that there's some other ways to educate us with the respective subjects? I mean assignments are NOT useless at all, but, i dun think it's most important, and yet it eats up most of our time, leaving us minimum time to prepare ourselves for exams, or rather, full understanding of what we've learnt.

What I think is:

IF they can't afford to manage or entertain consultations, don't make it sounds like so important (or sometimes, "threatening" with marks). Why can't the lecturer clarify and state the requirements clearly in the assignment briefing itself?Safe time, safe energy! (However, to me they have always thought that they have made everything so clear, BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT THE ONE DOING THE ASSIGNMENT!)

IF they willing to entertain consultation, please don't complain that we ask silly question. You think we are so free where we run all the way to ask you for something we already know??
You encourage us to ask, but then u discourage us later on. A set-off??

Till now I just keep telling myself, everything will be ok, everything will be in-planned, everything will just be on time...

It is really abit sux, to think of
what should i prioritize later when im back to home,
when can I steal the time to study for CA test (in 2 weeks time!) and CFM,
when will I finally understand what the CG lect. wanna teach us with his jumping style,
while i was swimming 15 laps in the college pool last night...

(It's pretty nice to swim under sunset and gradually observing the skies to turn black:)

I missed FA2 lecturer's teaching style. Bit of sacarstic, but accompanied with humouristic.
Self-regulation is NOT keep on mentioning about "Self-regulation" but in fact pushing us with somebodyelse's rules.
Self-regulation is make you work because you understand well the consequences.

Am not saying anyone was wrong.
Just that,
I
CANNOT AGREE.
